Who we are

This website is operated by Gibbard Digital, based in Grimsby, United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, contact us at hello@gibbarddigital.co.uk.

Enquiry form

If you send us an enquiry through the contact form, we receive the details you enter — your name, business name, email address, phone number, what you're interested in, your rough budget and your message — as an email. We also record the time of submission and the IP address the form was sent from, which helps us identify spam.

We use these details only to respond to your enquiry and discuss the work. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't share them with anyone else. Enquiry emails are kept in our mailbox so we have a record of the conversation; ask us and we'll delete yours.

The form is submitted to our own server on this domain. It doesn't go through a third-party form service.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site — for example, which pages are viewed and how long people stay. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this.

Cookie Purpose Duration
_ga Distinguishes unique visitors 2 years
_ga_* Persists session state for Google Analytics 2 years

These cookies are non-essential, so under UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) we only set them with your consent. When you first visit, you'll see a banner asking you to accept or decline analytics cookies. Analytics only runs if you accept.

You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of any page. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage and is not sent to us or anyone else.

What Google does with this data

Analytics data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, and we do not share this data with any other third party.

What we don't collect

This site has no user accounts and takes no online payments. Beyond the enquiry form and analytics described above, we don't collect anything about you.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal data. You can also object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
